Grandfather Jordi recently died and his grandchildren have received a letter in which he explains that all those old pirate legends that fascinated us so much as children were not fantasy but his own adventures lived during his years of sailing! It seems that Grandpa hid a treasure somewhere and all the clues to find it are on his sailboat: we need your help to solve the mystery!

An original and innovative escape room in which teamwork is essential. After the game there is the option of taking a sailboat ride, ideal for couples and friends who wish to live an unforgettable experience, unique in Europe.

This game takes place aboard a sailboat moored in the port of El Masnou (Barcelona), NOT at Escape Masnou premises.

The weather affects the development of the game as if it were played outdoors. With light rain the activity can be carried out, with heavy rain it will be postponed for another date.

Difficulty * 

Depending on the difficulty, some games are modified to adapt them to the chosen level. Clues are provided at all levels whenever necessary. In the kids modality, a monitor will play with the minors to guarantee the fluidity of the game.

Extra time to celebrate

Are you celebrating? After the game you can rent the sailboat moored in the harbor for an hour to make a toast, blow out the candles, open presents or dance a little while having a snack. Bring whatever food and drinks you want and create unforgetable memories! Maximum capacity 12 people.

Unique original experience in Europe

“The sailboat” is the most original escape room in Escape Masnou, since everything takes place aboard a real classic sailboat. During the game the sailboat is moored in the port of El Masnou (Barcelona), specifically, you will find us here.

Teamwork is essential to find the treasure: take a good look inside the ship, carefully handle the objects you find and constantly communicate with your teammates to solve this entertaining challenge. Let yourself be carried away by an incomparable atmosphere and the story of grandfather Jordi and show what you are capable of!

In addition to having a fantastic time investigating and solving the puzzles on board, enjoy a lunch or dinner in one of the many restaurants that are located in the same port, with a very diverse gastronomic offer and for all tastes and pockets. A truly complete experience!

How do you access “The sailboat”?

It’s very easy to access “The Sailboat”. If you travel by private vehicle, there is paid parking space in the port of El Masnou. The port is also very close to the train station “Ocata” of the R1 and RG1 lines. Likewise, it can also be reached by bus with the C10 line of the Casas Company (Stop: “Ctra. Barcelona/c. de la Mare de Déu del Carme” or “Estació d’Ocata”). The mooring is accessed through the gate closest to Mataró, in front of “La proa” restaurant. Here is the exact location of the sailboat on Google Maps.

What happens if it rains?

As you will understand, since it is a ship, we need the weather to be nice. If it’s hot outside, it will be hot on the boat. If it rains a little outside, we might get a little wet on deck. If it rains heavily, it will be better to leave it for another day (raincheck!). Therefore, if the weather conditions are not safe for the experience to take place, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation until the last moment, in which case we will set an alternative date at no additional cost.
